Neha's KeyNote

Grounded in research, ignited with experiences and powered with storytelling and humor, Neha's work has three key themes that work beautifully together as well as independent of each other: Begin with self Global citizen Imagine life without rules, world without definitions. Unruly! But also, limitless! Neha will inspire you to ask the right questions and push boundaries with a global context. Leave the room thinking about the two most important days of your life - the day you were born and the day you find out why. Broaden to community – Grassroots champion Let's face it the world is not fair. What does this mean for the marginalized? How can the privileged level the playing field? Neha was lucky with her innate resilience to fight the odds. How do you convert random luck into policies, programs, and nudges that systematically empower people? Communicate for impact: From self to community Had your moment about the two important days of your life? Now you want to tell the world about it. How do you translate that idea into words from writing to speaking? You don't want to just get over the nerves but you want to leave an impact! Engage Neha to share the power of thinking globally and acting locally, championing grassroots causes to inspire and enable individuals and communities.

About Neha

Neha's life journey took her from the small town of Hubli (in India) to Harvard, with pitstops across the Pacific Islands, Asia, Middle East, Europe, and the US. Parts of this journey were unplanned, most of it was deliberate, and all of it was the product of pushing boundaries. This led to a rich unorthodox career she is a policy expert, public-private partnership guru, humanitarian worker, communications whiz, journalist, and a satellite engineer. The common denominator was her commitment to social impact. With that at the core, she has spent over 16 years with international organizations of global reach and influence including Harvard University, INSEAD, UNICEF, International Committee of the Red Cross, Al Jazeera. She thinks global and acts local, working towards systematically empowering people and communities. At Harvard, Neha was a Mason Fellow and was bestowed the 'Raymond & Josephine Vernon Award' for academic excellence and distinguished contribution to the community.
