Challenging Bias: Bravery, Boldness, and Badassery Stacy Bernal is a self-proclaimed Recovering Nobody. After a lifetime of mistakes and mediocrity, her life turned around after she crossed the finish line of her first marathon in 2009. From that day on, she found ways to discover her own Inner Badass and is today passionate about helping others find theirs. From trailer park trash to rising from the ash, Stacy believes everyone possesses greatness and some people need a little help tapping into it. Stacy encourages her clients to get out of their comfort zones, challenge the status quo, and try on lenses of perspectives other than their own. Through the power of a growth mindset, Stacy teaches audiences that they have the capacity to be and instigate the change they wish to see in the world. About Stacy

Stacy Bernal is an author, speaker & coach at See Stacy Speak LLC. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Weber State University with a BA in Communication. In 2018, she founded Awesome Autistic Ogden, northern Utah's premier autism appreciation event, as well as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Stacy feels passionate about working with organizations that want to cultivate the inner badassery of their team members so that they feel empowered to share their voices and ideas and create lasting change in themselves, their companies, and their communities. She's especially engaged in promoting diversity, equity & inclusion in an ever-evolving world. Stacy has been featured on Thrive Global, Chicago Now, Scary Mommy, Autism Parenting Magazine, and HER Magazine. Her debut memoir The Things We Don't Talk About has received much acclaim and praise. She is an ultra-marathoner, eight-time marathoner, and three-time triathlete. She lives happily with her husband and two sons in beautiful Utah.
