Cécile Bastien Remy is a TEDx - award-winning speaker, and an international presentation skills trainer. Her previous career was selling risk management software globally. She moved to Switzerland in 2007 and started to dive into the world of communication where she published two guide books for ex-pats. In 2012, thanks to this experience, she gave a Keynote on the need to re-invent your career while on an international assignment.     This was the very beginning of articulating an inspiring speech on the topic of resilience. The topic of resilience has a much bigger meaning to her. At 21 she was in a car crash that took away a lot from her. While developing deep expertise in communication skills, she also articulated what resilience means, how to trigger it, and how it leads to a happier life. When she is not on stage, Cécile helps her clients become the speaker they want to be. She works with corporations, universities, and professionals.

Dr. Elke Duwenig

Dr. Elke Duwenig is an inspiring senior expert, skilled in biotechnology and innovation on agricultural and life science challenges, with a passion for sustainable solutions. She is currently active in Regulatory and Government Affairs for Human Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Enzymes, Flavour, and Pharma products at Nutrition & Health, BASF SE. She was also an expert lead in the Corporate Renewable Raw Material Roadmap at BASF. Elke gives expert guidance for strategies and roadmaps as well as for R&D projects and sales products. She is strongly engaged in legislation and authority work to safeguard biotech products and opening markets together with EuropaBio, EU SFI, FEFANA, AMFEP, and other trade associations and think tanks like BIC, ILSI, and AFSI, both in the EU and globally.   Elke studied biology and chemistry at the University of Münster, Germany, and Stanford University, USA. She graduated and completed her doctorate in molecular plant physiology at the Institute for Gene-Biological Research (Institut für genbiologische Forschung) IGF, Berlin, and did two postdocs at the Max-Planck Institute in Golm and the University of Freiburg, Germany, before joining BASF.

Claudia Stuckmann-Invernizzi

Currently, at the helm of the Head of International Public Affairs for a leading animal health company and a member of the senior leadership team, Claudia brings 20 years of experience in strategic global stakeholder management and diverse public affairs, government relations, public policy, and communication experience to the table. She has gained perspectives from different roles and projects across various industries and organisations: she worked in politics; for multinational corporations; an industry trade association and a public affairs and communication consultancy firm.     Her expertise covers a variety of sectors including environment, agriculture, biotechnology, and healthcare. Having been politically active and held various leadership positions at a non-governmental organization for over a decade, Claudia’s passion for sustainability runs deep. She was the Chairwoman of several EUW International Commissions, a candidate for the European Parliament elections in 2004 and 2009, and was elected twice as a personal substitute to a member of the European Parliament. It is Claudia’s intention to drive sustainability at executive & board levels and to ensure it is hardwired across the business, in both operations and innovations while enhancing corporate reputation.     In so doing she builds on her passion for sustainability and 20 years of experience in complex and diverse strategic global stakeholder management, as well as her track record of successfully influencing the external business environment. Claudia believes that in a complex external environment, managing the external environment beyond a business’ focus on the direct customer is key. It is not the only key for the company’s reputation and sustainability efforts, but also for the company to gain and keep its social license to operate as well as to drive short-term business success, e.g., in the context of product introductions & adoptions. Raquel Ark (MA, CPC) is a podcast host, speaker, mentor, and trainer. She has over 25 years in multinational corporations and academia. She is the founder of listening ALCHEMY, a communication training and coaching organization including foundational evidence-based listening programs.   Raquel has spoken on the TEDx stage, as well as at conventions, organizations, and schools both in person and remotely. Her clients include HelloFresh, hotjar, commerce tools, Codility, BASF, Fairtrade International, and more. She is the podcast host for, “listening SUPERPOWER podcast” which focused on listening in teams and organizations beyond what we typically consider. She is the Vice President of the International Listening Association and a university instructor at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences.   Raquel was born and raised in Puerto Rico and Ohio, USA, and is now living in Germany.
