Karin's KeyNote

A Coffee House in Your Mind

Coming up with radical, new ideas can be challenging. I know because I have been doing it for a living for over 15 years. We all tend to get stuck in our preferred ways of thinking; it is comfortable and very human, but at the same time detrimental to innovation and creativity. This keynote will take you on a journey to explore the critical importance of diversity, specifically cognitive diversity, in both teams and within your own thinking.

I share a series of practical strategies you can apply to your teams and yourself to harness the power of diverse thinking. These strategies can be used for businesses or public service agencies, and even personal relationships to challenge engrained ways of thinking and enable us to tackle the big complex challenges ahead of us.
